The heart of our business model is the seven wholesale programs we offer both existing entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start a tea business.  Our programs can be divided up into three key categories:

The Retail Wholesale Program consists of the Teapreneur/KeyStone program and is ideally suited for existing businesses: gift shops, tea shops, specialty kitchen, health food stores, etc. any retailer who wants to buy and re-sell the product.  This program is suitable because these retailers like to key-stone, which is an industry term used to describe mark-up.  Since Teapreneurs get their product at 25% below MSWS, they are able to key-stone, meaning their mark-up is 100%, meaning for example, if they purchase a tea for $10 they can retail it for $20.

Included with the Teapreneur program is a coupon credit with a retail value of $1,490.63 and a loyalty re-order discount of 25%.  The cost of this program is $795.

The Distributor Wholesale Programs cost more but are ideally suited for individuals seeking the dual business flexibility of retailing and wholesaling the product.  Bronze, Silver, and Gold have the opportunity to retail the product for large profits, at the same time, have the ability to re-sell the product to retailers who then re-sell to the end consumer.  The highest retail and wholesale profit margins are offered to entrepreneurs that purchase the Gold wholesale package.

Included with the Bronze program is a coupon credit with a retail value of $2,803.13 and a loyalty re-order discount of 28.75%.  The cost of this program is $1,495.

Included with the Silver program is a coupon credit with a retail value of $4,678.13 and a loyalty re-order discount of 32.50%.  The cost of this program is $2,495.

Created in 2001, this training has been constantly updated and even includes a quick start 30 day plan.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI)

The most important component of each wholesale package we offer is the strong value for investment and a clear and definable Return on Investment (ROI).  The initial cost of each package is considerably less than the value of tea inventory credits offered with the package.  This ensures that you will earn a profit and ROI once the product sells.  Assuming that you sell all the tea within 12 months at retail prices, then the average ROI for all programs is about 88%; if the product is sold at wholesale rates, then the average ROI is about 25%.  Considering the ROI on the stock market today, these are strong returns that  you have control over because it is based upon a tangible asset.

Once the product is sold and because tea is a consumable, you have the opportunity to re-purchase the products at a discount below wholesale.  The discount ranges from 5% to 36.25%.

 THE POWER OF OUR PROGRAMS

There are several reasons our business programs are much better than what is currently being offered in today’s market place.

First, when you look at our competitors, they are primarily focused on servicing existing tea customers.  In other words, their primary business model is geared towards wholesaling their product to retailers selling at MSRP.  Potential for re-distributing their product to other wholesalers is there, but provided the distributor commits to larger quantities of product in order to get a large enough discount.  In contrast, Tea Connexions offers our customers the ability to retail and wholesale the product.  Clearly, the ability to wholesale is greatest with the Distributor Wholesale Programs (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) because their cost of goods is much less because of their discount. 

Second, it is important to note that the loyalty discount we offer is locked in.  In other words, once you choose one of our wholesale programs, you will enjoy the benefits from the discount regardless of how much you order from the company.  In contrast, most of our competitors work on the basis of volume discounts only, i.e. the more you order when you place the order, the greater your discount.
